Configuring Your Insights

Select the organizational data that appears on your insights.

Insights help your organization visualize your position and people data, monitor trends, and inform strategy. This article will teach you how to configure your insights with the information most valuable to your needs.

Adding Widgets to Your Insights

A widget is a tile or card that summarizes or displays helpful data. Each widget presents specific data, targeting key organizational questions. Individual widgets can be easily added and removed from your insights to select which data is visible.

You can add widgets to your insights by clicking the + Add Widget button located on the right upper side of the Insights page.

Note: This button will only be visible when additional widgets are available to add to your insights.

Organizing Widgets

Insights are designed with a modular configuration. You can build your configuration by moving and reordering widgets on the screen using drag-and-drop. If you log out of Built, you will see your most recent configuration when you return. Updating your insights will not change the view for any other admins in your organization.

Note: Each widget is designed to fill a certain width and length of your Insights page. Depending on the widgets you select to display, you can reorder the widgets to optimize your screen.

Removing Widgets from Your Insights

Hover over any widget and click the X in the upper right corner of the widget to remove it from your insights. You can add a widget back to your insights by following the instructions above.

Note: Removing a widget from your insights will not affect your data source.
