Account Administrators can now upload photos for your entire organization using .zip files directly through the web interface.

Here are the specifications regarding how to do a batch upload of photos:

1. Photos must be .jpg, .png, or .gif files.

2. Each photo file must be no larger than 6 MB.

3. Total .zip file size must be no larger than 600 MB.

4. Each photo must be named using one of the following methods: First name underscore last name, for example: john_brown.jpg or Employee ID, for example: 1401.jpg.

These filenames must match the first and last name or employee ID for those you are uploading pictures for. This is the only way the system will be able to match the photo to the correct employee profile.

We also highly recommend resizing all landscape-orientation photos to 640x480 dimensions and all portrait-orientation photos to 480x640. You can use a program like Photoshop to batch resize the photos.

Once you have properly named your images and created a .zip file, as an account Administrator, you can click on the following link to upload your .zip file: https://app.builtforteams.com/import/avatar_upload

One thing to note: the system will let you know if any errors occur. Otherwise, when the file uploads and processes successfully, you'll be redirected to the People page.

Also note that the photos are processed asynchronously, so depending on how many you upload, it may take a bit of time before they are all visible within employees profiles or on the org chart.
