The employee self-service capabilities of Built for Teams make digitally managing your employee information a whole lot easier! If an employee gets a new personal phone number, they can directly update their profile with that new number. Likewise, a change of address can be directly updated by the employee whenever necessary.

A potential problem arises here, though: how does HR find out about these changes? In Built for Teams, that problem is easily resolved by using our Daily Change Digest email. This email is sent every morning to the administrator types of your choosing, and contains a list of all changes made in the prior 24 hours. Batching the notifications in this way allows you to stay in the loop without receiving individual emails for every single employee change.

Follow these steps to set up this feature:

  1. As an administrator, go to Settings > Profiles.

  2. Click the Edit Settings button.

  3. Choose the "Yes" option to enable the daily profile change emails.

  4. Choose the type(s) of administrators who should receive the emails.

  5. Save your changes.

With this setting now enabled, Built for Teams will begin sending an email every morning at 5:00 AM.
