When a PTO request is submitted, Built for Teams immediately sends an email to the appropriate person for review. Sometimes, though, people don't take immediate action to approve a request and then forget to do it later.

If you're having trouble with approvers not approving time off requests in a timely manner, you might benefit from letting Built for Teams send a daily reminder email.

To enable this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Paid Time Off.

  2. Click the Edit Settings button.

  3. Click "Yes" on the "Send Daily Reminders for Unapproved Requests" setting.

With that setting enabled, the system will automatically remind managers and admins when they have time off requests that are still awaiting their approval.
